WHITE SUFFOLKS

The Gemini White Suffolk stud was founded in 1993, with our well established Suffolk stud providing the foundation.

We have a very strong focus on commercial traits such as fast growth, early maturity, high yields, structural correctness and genuine lambing ease. These are traits we continually aim to improve through a combination of visual classing, measured performance data and the use of latest DNA technology.

All our White Suffolk stud sheep have been DNA tested for hypotrichosis (an identified recessive gene within the sheep industry) and all carrier sheep have been removed from the stud.

Our breeding objective and years of selection has produced a White Suffolk type that we believe is one of the most efficient and profitable on offer in today’s sheep industry, and very much in line with current industry needs and future projections.
