Performance recording is something we have embraced since the very beginning.

We are using Lambplan to provide ASBV’s (Australian Sheep Breeding Values) for traits such as Birth Weight, Weaning Weight, Post Weaning Weight, Post Weaning Eye Muscle Depth and many more traits.

We have now taken this a step further using DNA testing (Genomics Genotyping) to give us RBV’s (Research Breeding Values) for traits such as Lean Meat Yield (LMY) Intra Muscular Fat (IMF) Shear Force at 5 days (SHEAR5) and Dressing Percentage (DRESSPE) to give us even more information about the sire’s we are using within our studs.
